After a bad couple of days I decided I deserve to be spoiled! So after going down south for a few things, I decided to stop at the Agana shopping center and treat myself to a melon flavor ice with tapioca drink and sour strips. Yum!

Purple Wednesday
At work every day is a different color, Wednesday is purple and it's my favorite now! Why? Purple is the color of like half of my March of Dimes stuff! Got to wear my MOD family team t-shirt under my scrub top, my MOD bracelets, and my MOD bag for all my stethescopes, and other nursing equipment! I decided I needed a new bag to carry all my stuff in because the one I had was from the old hospital I worked at, so I figured I'd rep it up for the MOD a little! Sorry for the myspace-ish pic, I was gonna have Charles take a picture for me but he left for work early thanks to the inspection. I wanted this pic just in case I couldn't find anything else to take a picture of, and good thing I did becasue there wasn't anything else!
Living life for today
Since Emilyn and Hailey were born I have become very involved in the March of Dimes and have "met" many wonderful women. One of those is Kate. Her son Kyle was born prematurely at 33 weeks and ended up spending about 9 months in the NICU before he was able to come home. However, coming home wasn't the end of his journey through prematurity. He has been in and out of the hospital many times and has had over thirteen surgeries, with another very big one coming up in the next week or two. This one will hopefully help to get him off of his IV TPN that he is dependent on to give him the nutrition he needs. Not too long ago Kyle went to another state to have a round of testing to see what was going on with his stomach, they couldn't fly commercial because of the IV medicine and oxygen that Kyle requires. Angel Flights stepped in to get him to where he needed to be. I saw that Kate was selling these t-shirts to raise money to donate to Angel flights and a branch of the March of Dimes that provides support to parents of babies in the NICU as well as parents who have lost their babies. I just had to have one for several reasons. They're adorable, the money raised will benefit two amazing charities, and I just had to show my love and support to this brave little boy and his amazing mommy! This five year old boy is so brave and is happy despite all the challenges he is facing in his life, and his smile just melts your heart. Kate does everything she can to keep him home, keep him healthy, and most of all keep him happy. I'm so happy that I have "met" her and am proud to wear my I<3KYLESTCLAIR t-shirt to show this amazing family my support.

Mother's Day Projects
My Flower Pots with roses, they're kind of in sad shape but I'm hoping they'll perk up soon with a little TLC!

Scrapbooking with the quotes I put on the flower pots

Scrapbooking with a letter to my girls.

I was invited to take part in a Mother's Day project for women who have lost their sweet angels. My first task was to paint flower pots with a quote and my girls' names. My second task was to have tea and write in my journal answering several questions. After that I made couple of scrapbook pages, one with a letter to my girls and the other with the quotes I put on my flower pots. Then I put the flowers in the pots and took pictures! It kept me busy most of the day and was so peaceful!

Don't mess with me momma
The only time Molly ever snaps at anyone is when she has a bone, she takes them very seriously. We of course take advantage of this time to mess with her and chase her around the house when she has a bone, resulting in her turning into a little razorback. How perfect for her since she spent the first part of her life in Arkansas, razorback country!
