Bought some new real waist maternity pants yesterday. With the girls I just had the secret fit panel which was always so hot and sticky. But these are amazing, I love them! Finally I can be comfortable in my clothes again!!
By the way, this is my ten week belly pic!
I can't believe it's really been eight months since I last held and loved on my sweet baby girls. Since I smelled their sweet baby scent and kissed their sweet cheeks. They were watching out for me today, making sure I found just the perfect flowers for them. I went to the store and the first words out of my mouth were "I don't want roses, carnations, or daisies" The lady's reply? "we have gerber daisies..." Yeah, lol. Living in Guam, those three flowers are typically your only choice because a lot of the other kinds just won't survive the trip over here. Well, when I had first walked in I spied these beauties at the back of the fridge, but I couldn't see exactly what they looked like because it was dark. So after the lady said all they had really were daisies I asked her if those were available. Usually the ones in the back aren't, they're saved for someone. But, lucky for me they weren't saved for anyone! She brought them out, a hot pink one, a light pink one and a white one....perfect. Just what I wanted! I got five more chrysanthemums to bring the number of flowers out to eight, for the number of months I've been missing my girls. I think these may be my favorite flowers yet.

This was the second poke. The first one he got a vial of blood from, then went to grab the next vial and wasn't paying attention and the needle went perpendicular to the way my vein went, effectively ruining the line so he had to stick me on the other arm. First vein: blown and bruised. Second vein: ok, but nice red mark where he taped! Idiots!

Charles got tagged for extra security checks on his flight home for his ten year high school reunion. I guess maybe something about a single guy with a military backpack and a tag with arabic writing on it raises suspicion. But before you feel bad for him.....he flew first class the whole way.

Happy liberation day Guam!
Also remembering the 2 year anniversary of the loss of the crew of Raider 21. Raider 21 was a B-52 that was scheduled to do a flyover for the Liberation Day Parade in 2008 but unfortunately did not make it. The plane crashed in the ocean, taking with it the lives of six airmen.

Yep, these are a typical roadside decoration here in Guam. I would say that most of them are transplanted by typhoons and then just never cleaned up, but nope, I think at least two of these have been added to the pile since we got here, and thus far there hasn't been a typhoon
