Bath Time: Before and After
This is Molly when we asked her if she wanted a bath. She tried to hide from us, there's only so many places a 55 pound dog can hide.
This is her thank you reward to us. Yes, she peed down the entire hallway. Though I will give it to her, she was whining in the bath which isn't something normal. Since there was a nice line of it and it was on it's way out to the door we're thinking she was on her way to the door but just couldn't hold it. Wonder if the hot water/cold water hand trick works for dogs too?

Tornado!
Yeah, I'm cool like that. I get it from my mom. I measure everything out and make a little model to scale on graph paper. That way, you can move everything around and figure out where it will fit and which layout will give you the most room. Saves you a ton of energy moving bits of paper around than moving around big pieces of furniture. The cribs are the convertable ones, that convert to full sized headboard and footboards, you just have to get the rails. We already had the bed and rails, or so we thought. The plan was to take one of the cribs down and turn it into the headboard and footboard for the full sized bed we already had in there to give us a bit more room. So we got to work to move it around.
This was the result. We discovered after we had taken everything apart that we didn't have the correct rails to make it happen! So the nursery is now a mess. Tomorrow we're off on a mission to find the proper rails, chances are we'll probably have to order them as people look at us confused as we try to describe what we want or need. Here's to hoping they'll ship them here!! Until then, tornado room it is!

Once in a lifetime
Molly never lays in her bed, seriously, never. Her bed is a fighting tool! It's the only thing we allow her to play with that she's allowed to bite us, since it's nice and thick and doesn't hurt and she loves playing with it. So I took this opportunity to catch the once in a lifetime event of her actually using it as it is meant to be used. I think the last time she laid down in her bed was when it was in her kennel and she had no other options.

PIG!!!
On our drive home we hit a wild pig....oops! Charles slowed the car down enough to not do much damage to the car, and hopefully not to the pig either. I don't think the pig was even knocked down, just to the side and then it ran right off. The thing was a monster! I'd say it probably stood up to mid thigh maybe. Thankfully, the airbags did not deploy and there wasn't much damage to the car. There are a few minor scratches that can probably be waxed out, the bumper was pushed in a little bit and the license plate holder was cracked, all easily fixable! Oh, and this is a picture of all the dirt that the pig left on our car, it was one dirty pig!

Emergency Room
Yep, made my first trip during pregnancy to the Emergency Room. My tummy was giving me troubles with bad cramping and vomiting. Thus, a trip to make sure button was still doing ok in there after it subsided! Button and me are both doing perfectly! When the doctor pressed the ultrasound down Button kicked out at him like "leave me alone"!

Pharmacy
Molly's got her own pharmacy at home, here's the listing of her meds.
Hydroxyzine two times a day
Temaril P once a day
Cephalexin 2 pills twice a day
Ear cleaner once a day
Ear drops once a day
Yogurt 1 Tbsp twice a day for tummy upset with antibiotics
Also, not pictured, chlorhexidine soap to wash belly and feet twice a week as well as Eukanuba Response FP vet diet for an allergy prone dog
When she doesn't have a skin infection, it basically cuts out the cephalexin and decreases how often we use the ear cleaner and drops and the chlorhexidine soap.
I feel like I quit my job as a nurse at the hospital to be the stay at home nurse for my dog :S
