This was supposed to be a father's day-ish event, but that's the dangers of going with a local, always gotta reschedule!

I would say that I feel sorry for this lady sitting in the back of the truck while it was raining, but, well, I don't! The car was in the parking lot of K-mart.....shelter from the rain was about 50 feet away, so it's her own fault she's wet!

Another experiment in the crockpot, it was ok! Though I don't think I'll be keeping it on my regular list of meals to make. Oh, and side note I think I'll be finding a different brand of rice, the rice in a bag turned out to be mush instead of nice sticky rice.

Road work

Ok.....so I got my camera out a little late in this picture. About five seconds before the construction was moved about five feet over and I was having to drive over in the dirt.....not sure why they don't just close the whole road! Guess I'll turn off before the construction next time!

Combating the bugs

I switched brands of rice to a brand that comes in a plastic bag. I figure if I can see the rice before I buy it, then I know it's not coming equipped with bugs too.
